The beginning of this year has been an opportunity for us to take a step out of our daily routines and enter 2026 with a strengthened team that is more motivated than ever.

We continue to practice what we “preach” as consultants by cultivating a lifelong learning mindset. I was particularly pleased to welcome Yan Mercoeur and to see how seamlessly he connected with our team, linking our pedagogy with one of the major influences of our approach: Neuro‑Linguistic Programming.

Since our creation in 1987, we have continuously trained ourselves, and over the past two years we have followed high‑quality training sessions with Pascale Molho on Nonviolent Communication and Jérôme Lefeuvre on Emotional Intelligence. These regular internal trainings and the sharing of our methods help us bring even more depth and substance to the MMAPPER model.

Today, we can know everything (or believe we do) at the snap of a finger, but know-how and interpersonal skills require a much greater effort, don’t you think?

I remember having predicted with some bitterness the end of our long-standing activity in Languages. That was back in 2019. Today, in 2025, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming and training two new young Language facilitators – and I’ve had to BEEN ABLE TOO facilitate again in this field on a few occasions given the growing interest in our flagship Language programs!

Besides the pleasure of realising that my expertise in this field is still very much intact – because once learning is truly embodied, it lasts a lifetime – I experienced this not as a step backwards, but as a real opportunity, an opportunity to revisit the fundamentals, to see how our practices in Management can enrich our work in Languages (and vice versa), and finally to realise that MMAPPER can be applied to a wide variety of contexts and situations.

In this newsletter, we are delighted to share with you a few new projects for 2026 that have emerged from this thought process, to continue building a brighter future together.

As ImpaQt’s 40th anniversary is just around the corner, the idea of recruiting two new young facilitators fills me with hope and excitement.

A warm welcome to Mathilde Lefeuvre and Jasmine Fitzpatrick !

Firstly, because this resonates as I’m taking a step out to focus and reflect on our pedagogical approach and on MMAPPER’s growth.

Secondly, because I was impressed by the number and quality of applications we received and by the enthusiasm of a lot of candidates seeking to find meaningful work.

And lastly, because our language activity is thriving, providing us with the opportunity to train our new team members in our field of origin. Indeed, we all began our journey at ImpaQt in the field of languages, where facilitation and its pedagogical posture are particularly relevant. I wish Mathilde and Jasmine a long and enriching experience with ImpaQt – one that allows them to grow and learn throughout their lives.

As Richard Bach once said in his book Illusions « We teach best what we most need to learn ». Our secret as facilitators is that we learn more from our learners than they learn from us, and this is how we help learners unlock their potential.

MMAPPER will continue to evolve, offering valuable insights across many learning areas.

Today we have MMAPPER facilitators and tomorrow there will be MMAPPER managers, MMAPPER HR leaders, MMAPPER doctors… and who knows perhaps one day, a MMAPPER school.

I’m pleased to share with you our 2025 motto and the potential paradox associated with it.

Embracing difference has always been one of my fundamental values, linked to my family history. The paradox is that when we believe strongly in a value, we are no longer open to difference, and even less able to embrace it…

Today, I accept that this value might not be shared by all, for reasons related to each and every person’s life experiences. When I feel balanced, when I consider myself & the others to have value, I am open to understanding where they are coming from with their own filters. When I manage to do this without judgment, others, more often than not open their door to mine and we can then communicate, create a bond, build together.
I wish for us all throughout 2025 to take the time to create the conditions for human beings to meet and embrace difference.

In all the company’s 37 years, the first 6 months of this year have been among the best.

Thank you, dear customers, for the trust you have continued to place in us over the years and thank you to my colleagues for your unfailing dedication and professionalism.

Our economic success is a consequence of many other factors, starting with the cohesion and complementarity of our team. Indeed, it’s our differences that make us such a strong team.

Today, we’re a collective with a wealth of experience, who continues to question our practices and believes in lifelong learning. Our newly acquired skills in the use of Marshall Rosenberg’s Non-Violent Communication have enabled us to refine and improve our work practices be it in the fields of management, communication and language facilitation.

Another key to our success is that we love what we do and do what we love. PLEASURE – the fifth pillar of MMAPPER – is in my view, a high priority for any manager: put a smile on your team’s face. A team that smiles is a team that performs.

In the first semester of this year, despite an intense level of activity, we continued our research and development work. Our MMAPPER positioning application continues to evolve positively and we hope to launch a pilot phase by the end of the year.

And as a team, we’ve just embarked on the construction of our new strategic plan for 2025 to 2027, mixing work with pleasure, and taking advantage of these precious moments to soak up the sunshine and the happy faces to handle tomorrow’s challenges better.

2024: make an impact

Why this slogan?

Of course, there’s the nod to ImpaQt, which was all too tempting…

In fact, this new slogan seemed an obvious, logical follow-up to “2023: add your touch”. Because it’s only when everyone makes a positive contribution by adding their own touch of personal color that a collective can evolve and step by step create a vision, a coherent image that makes sense.

While writing this editorial, I looked up the origin of the term ‘impact’. It comes from the Latin ‘impactum’, from ‘impigere’, to hit. This echoes what we experience in the course of our coaching work: in-depth transformation of an organization does not take place without clashes… In fact, it is often the expression of dissonance that enables harmony to be created at the end of the process.

This also echoes the role of the facilitator – or that of the manager-facilitator – and the art of the challenge, which enables us to move individual and collective lines, while taking care, thanks to an acute awareness of ourselves and others, not to do too much or too little. Another story of cursors…
