Testimonials
« An interesting approach when you have a wide variety of profiles in a team. »
Jean-Christophe Herbulot’s testimonial, Supply Chain Deployment VP at SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC at the time ::
The stakes
« I thought it was pertinent to put into place a Team Project as we were experiencing difficulties interacting as a team and not sharing the same approach. The stakes were to improve collective efficiency and to communicate better over and above the differences in approach and objectives. »
The benefits
« Concerning the Mirror, the quality of listening and the ability to give feedback improved, to accept diverging points of view not only in substance but also in form. For Method, our meetings are far more structured especially now with a timekeeper and an observer who regulates the communication and efficiency of the team work.As for Pleasure, the collective feeling is that we have found genuine pleasure working together and being together and benevolence that overcomes disagreements. It’s an interesting approach when you have a wide variety of profiles in a team. It also enables you to reflect on the person-position match by identifying the strong points more easily and those needing more attention, and therefore working on these different points »
Testimonials by participants from our very first Team Project with ADP in 2014:
The stakes
«We called in ImpaQt to help a French team develop a more global role involving daily interactions, face to face and by phone or visioconference, with foreign customers. Over and above the initial work to develop our ability to communicate effectively in English, we also focussed on our « French assertiveness » which isn’t always well perceived abroad and which needed our attention to improve our impact. » Emmanuel Rémy, VP Strategic Client Partnerships at ADP at the time.
The benefits
« This programme gave the group the opportunity to share intense moments together and reinforced their bonds. It was like a catalyst and allowed some to make the decisions they’d been considering for a long time. Personally since this experience, I have taken risks I’d never taken before in investing money and energy in two start-ups. This programme leaves its mark on you and allowed us individually and collectively to ask ourselves questions and open up other horizons and paths. » Emmanuel Rémy
« This MMAPPER programme enabled us to really get to know each other, to create bonds and mutual support. We have remained very close and most of us are still in contact with each other. Thanks to the collective mirror, I personally progressed in my capacity to give a more positive first impression of myself. » Laurent Mongin
« I remember the destination of this journey: an aligned understanding of the direction we were going to give to our collective, a diverse team made up of people from very different professional horizons. » Nicolas Descamps
«The construction of the Project phase and the structure of MMAPPER brought rational and tangible elements to this process. » Laurent Tarazona
« Team Project is a wonderful human adventure»
Julien Guilloteau, Quality Director at FENWICK LINDE:
The stakes
« When I took my new position in the Quality Direction we were reorganising the department with a team made up of mainly former colleagues. I thought it was essential to have this team building programme to accompany the changes serenely. How could we be more efficient? Individually, every member of my team had significant experience and solid technical skills. Our challenge was to get all these skills to serve the collective and the company. To do this, I wanted to develop working relationships and communication within the department and then, later, with other departments. »
The benefits
« We were used to focussing on the 2 same pillars in our daily activity: Method and Effort. This thought process enabled us to realise the importance of other pillars such as the Mirror and Pleasure. It enabled us to come out of our comfort zone and be open-minded which was necessary for the success of certain projects.
I can see the positive changes in behaviour : better listening skills, ability to give each other compliments and questioning after a conflict. The results on relations in the department are more than satisfactory and are improving too with other departments. This approach allowed us to « unearth » past conflicts and deal with them.
Team Project is a wonderful human adventure! You need to be aware from the start that it’s an ever ending process. Each individual has his own path and rhythm. You also need to accept to opening up and calling yourself into question with regards to your team. »
« MMAPPER – lay the foundations for team work, clarify roles and responsibilities, and work in an harmonious environment respectful of everyone’s individuality. »
Karima BOUMAAZA, HRBP GSC Europe Central Functions at SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC:
«MMAPPER – first and foremost become aware of who we are, of our biases and the image we give during our interactions with our colleagues and our family.
MMAPPER – discover yourself and discover there are other ways of communicating, put words and behaviour on notions, reflexes that we knew existed but that we’d never taken the time to analyse and to understand.
MMAPPER – learn how to work on yourself, to have the keys to understanding, ways of communicating to make yourself heard.
MMAPPER – lay the foundations for team work, clarify roles and responsibilities, and work in a harmonious environment respectful of everyone’s individuality. By drawing on the inherent strengths of one’s own personality, everyone finds their place and that complementarity offers the maximum potential for team work. »

Testimonials
« Com & Co gives us the opportunity to be who we really are and to have access to a level of freedom in exchanges with others which is rare. »
Testimonial by Christophe GODEL, Services & Solutions Business Unit Director for SKF at the time, today managing director of a company in the food industry:
« I participated in a Com&Co programme at a time when I was asking myself a lot of questions about my future. This programme corresponded well to my questioning by giving me the opportunity to work on my communication and on my project. I went through a first phase of observation and questioning. Then the second phase helped me to work on my confidence in a safe personal development environment, where each participant felt comfortable « baring their souls » and where peer coaching enabled us to really challenge each other.
I learnt to adapt my communication and to accept more easily the mechanisms of those with whom communication wasn’t fluid. I learnt to take a step back from the way others work. This programme also enabled me to put into place, thanks to the MMAPPER structure, personal changes by asking myself the right questions and by sharing without being driven.
I’d say to a manager thinking about doing this programme that you’ll learn a lot about yourself, that you’ll ask yourself the right questions and have the permission, which is rare for a manager who is often « alone » – to show your weaknesses. You’ll give meaning to your actions by understanding how, at your level, you can give meaning to what you do.
We often speak about putting people at the heart of processes. Com&Co gives us the opportunity to be who we really are and to have access to a level of freedom in exchanges with others which is rare. »
« Concrete and not « blahblah » with visible everyday results. »
Xavier TROUVE, Internal flow and logistics provider manager at FENWICK-LINDE:
« What did I get out of Com&Co? A better understanding of myself and the interactions that I have with others. I improved my managerial posture. I developed the capacity to take a step out to adjust my position. It’s very important for a manager in a demanding role. What I’d say to a manager thinking about participating in this programme is to go for it and not be afraid of revealing who you really are or of feeling uncomfortable. The talk time that is offered and the diversity of profiles to be discovered enable you to get to the bottom of things and become aware of the strong impact we can have on others. It’s concrete and not « blahblah » with visible everyday results. »
« A real eye-opener that helped me to look in the mirror and develop my self-awareness. »
Stéphanie SICHI, Deputy HRD at VOLKSWAGEN GROUP France at the time, today HR development director at KONICA MINOLTA:
« The benefits of Com&Co were firstly for myself on a personal level with the ownership of the Process Communication tool. I also had a real eye-opener that helped me to look in the mirror and develop my self-awareness.
I would advise a manager thinking about taking part in this programme to do it as much for your own personal development as for developing your managerial skills because it is essential to know yourself and integrate how others function too. »
« MMAPPER is « magic » for me because it’s the beginning of rediscovering yourself », taking care of yourself…and in the end discovering yourself and reaching your potential in the company of others! »
Pascal LEMASSON, Operations Manager at ITRON
« I would describe MMAPPER as a method to enable you to define who you are today, what you want in the future and how to get it. »
David FERET, Head of Testing Department at FENWICK LINDE:
« After a year of co-development in a Com&Co programme, I would describe MMAPPER as a method to enable you to define who you are today, what you want in the future and how to get there. A check-list to make sure you don’t forget anything and have a comprehensive vision, on the professional side of course but also from a personal point of view. In my opinion, the essential point is the MIRROR. It’s the founding stone of the PROJECT but it is also the compass which helps us to take the best possible direction. As things move with time, it’s good to come back regularly to the MIRROR to check that we’re still on track.»
« The merit of the facilitator is not to give us the theory or the tools, but to bring us out of ourselves, with a great deal of benevolence. »
Mireille MALAGUTI, Global CS&Q Senior Program Manager at SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC:
« I had requested to work on « how to improve the effectiveness of my communication » and my manager at the time shared the experience of MMAPPER and said that it would be really interesting. I discovered that Com&Co is much more than just that, with a dimension of getting to know yourself and others ».
The co-development programme was a positive experience for me, there was an enormous level of respect for each other, active listening and constructive mirror effects between us. The merit of the facilitator is not to give us the theory or the tools, but to bring us out of ourselves with a great deal of benevolence. The term facilitator is totally fitting. »
« Concretely, I went from doing by myself to having done by my team, taking in the human dimension of my project. »
Katia PERAT, Customer Accounting department at MACC:
« When I was promoted to the position of deputy Customer Accounting manager, I really needed to work less independently and communicate better. My HR manager suggested I took part in Com&Co. I didn’t really know what I was « getting myself into » with this programme, my project at the start of the process wasn’t very clear. Concretely, I went from doing by myself to having done by my team, taking in the human dimension of my project. I’m more comfortable with my colleagues.
When we use the word « communication », we naturally think about communication with others. As far as I was concerned, I needed to begin by relearning how to communicate with myself… I’ve already noticed that by recognising this step, I can go to the next one more naturally. And… I regularly think to myself : “If today you don’t have the life that you want it’s because there’s a fear that’s stopping you from doing it”. »

Testimonials
« A great discovery of yourself and of others »
Testimonial by Benedicte LEFEBVRE, Associate Director of a TEM PARTNERS branch at the time :
« The Connect programme allows you to understand the basis of communication, and tools for benevolent and effective communication. The examples and practical group exercises are very helpful to learn to know the different types of communication. It’s also a great discovery of yourself and of others…enriching on a personal level and a help in the context of professional relations with colleagues and partners. »
« I’m more at ease today and see others around me differently. »
Testimonial by Cécile Cailliou, Development technician at SKF:
« I was very satisfied with this training. The work on myself was necessary as you need to know yourself before you can adapt to others. It’s quite surprising to see how some parts of ourselves are visible for others but distorted by our own way of seeing ourselves. Conversely, parts that we want to hide are visible to others but they’re not bothered by them. The second phase was to recognise and understand the behaviour of other people and learn how to react. I got some completely wrong and this training really enabled me to understand why exchanges with some were more difficult than with others. »

Testimonials
« I finally understood that you need to keep things simple, not translate what you think and dare more. »
Laurence TIGANI, Account Executive HR Saas Solution at ORACLE:
« I found the methodology used in Immediate ImpaQt very interesting. This very fun programme enabled me to feel at ease and develop reflexes without translating. I found the facilitators input psychologically sound, rich and interesting. The programme is such fun that you loose any inhibitions you have. Something clicked in the way I used the language. Following this intensive, I really want to speak English…. »
« This method of learning, which is so different from the way I studied in the past, enabled me to get a grip with English in a fun way. »
Virginie Bouffier, Retail and Risk Management Manager for VOLKSWAGEN GROUP France:
« The 3 days of Immediate ImpaQt, totally in the target language, could also be called : how to unblock your English language! With 2 people coming from completely different professional backgrounds, we spoke, drew pictures, sang and danced for 3 days. We were filmed and had live feedback. »
« I was able to see right away a difference in the way I took part in “multicultural” professional meetings where I had to speak English. »
Pascal SANSON, Business Process Referent at SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC:
« After my personal investment in the Upgrade programme with ImpaQt, I was able to see right away a difference in the way I took part in “multicultural” professional meetings where I had to speak English. I was more active and interacted with people. I felt more at ease because of this and gained confidence to be in a better position in these meetings. I recommend this training for its approach, its methodology and the quality of its facilitators ».
« My Upgrade sessions reconciled me with the English language. »
Isabelle GRANGE, Assistant Controler/Supplier Accounting at THALES:
« In my opinion, I’d say the learning methods ImpaQt uses for English are totally different to anything we’d learnt up to then. They are more fun and interesting and particularly effective. »
« Fast Track completely freed me of my apprehension »
Jean-François LONDEIX, CS&Q Supplier Quality at SCHNEIDER Electric:
After several years working in a production unit for Schneider Electric, I wanted new challenges in other sectors of the group. However, English was a barrier to my professional evolution. I had to get over it! The Upgrade programme was in a small group of 4 colleagues over a short period of time. This formula enabled me to get over barriers I had with the language, daring to speak and limiting my apprehension over listening.
Boosted from this rich experience and to accelerate my level of autonomy, I followed on with the Fast Track programme which demands more regular practise. The highlight of this training is the presentation of a project in front of an audience with open discussion afterwards. Fast Track completely freed me of my apprehension. I could feel the difference in my daily work straight away. I started to take part more actively in meetings in English and no longer hesitated to pick up the phone to speak to foreign colleagues.
Since then, I have joined a new team working in an international environment with frequent exchanges in English and I’m using spoken and written English every day.
I really want to thank our facilitators, and the term is right, for the advice and methods they shared throughout the sessions, for their ability to help us go for it, for their benevolence and sense of humour. It’s a great way to boost your English! »
« Thanks to this training we wear our « I’ll do my best » badges with pride. »
Julie IRAOLA, Quality manager at CODIS LECLERC:
« ImpaQt set up a tailor-made programme of 6 half-days in our supermarket. The objective was to have a team of 8 people who could welcome and inform our English customers. We reactivated our knowledge in English and gained confidence in our ability to do our best to communicate in Shakespeare’s language. We created memo sheets for our jobs. The pedagogical methods are fun and varied : audio, video and role plays. »
« If you differ from me, my brother,
far from wronging me, you enrich me. »
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
